BIO
Eric Sizler
Eric Sizler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who during his nearly 20 years of experience refined his skills and perspective working in hospitals, child welfare agencies, and various programs including therapeutic residential, sexual abuse treatment, parenting skills and education, victims of crimes act counseling program and many others. Eric has been in private practice since 2011 and loves having “the freedom to tailor a treatment plan that fits each client’s personal needs.”
Eric has always been curious about what it is that actually makes Treatment models like Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) so effective. So, over the years he has paid attention to what goes on in typical therapy sessions, particularly the times that real progress is made. What he has found is that by focusing on the components that actually produce the majority of results, therapy doesn’t have to take forever and doesn’t have to be an uncomfortable experience. Eric believes that we really don’t need to feel bad in order to feel better at all. It’s quite the opposite. We can actually heal our wounds while feeling emotionally neutral and comfortable in the process. In most cases, it’s actually fun and much faster. That’s why he loves this work.
